RG Freedom decision making

ok, the wings are done...








So this is the decision making part.. waterslide decal / original foil stickers / hand paint chrome silver. hmm~
Suggestions?

I've done a hand paint test on the left leg.. turned out very nice... but the wings are still different...


RG Gundam Freedom looks weird without wings...

      Those are clear display A4 folder (for my guitar chords). turned out quite alright for a background. haha

    Wow.. Even better then my RG Freedom.. I use the original foil sticker and it's turn out just fine.. But I think water slide will be better.. Waiting to see your finishing work.. And nice job there ^^

      Thanks for checking out my blog. Although RG stickers have very good reputation, but I'm still very reluctant to use them. lets see how waterslides turn out.

    Did the waterslides come with the kit? O_O If not where did you happen to get them :O

    I'll be building this as my first kit :) and would love to test out many things before buying more complicated kits.

      Those water slide decals are ordered from samueldecal in Facebook (he's currently working on his new website)

      So in the mean time, you can browse his Facebook page and send him email with photo/kit name to order.

      He's a good seller, he'll provide you pricing and shipping first before you PayPal him when you decide.

      I have another question, I've just bought Model Masters Enamel Chrome Silver and tested it out with a brush and it doesn't seem like it gives a nice reflective mirror like look. When you paint with your paint from Tamiya, do you just dip your brush and apply?

      Hey there,

      Enamel needs enamel thinner, it's best to apply a few layers of thin coat enamel paints. So if you apply one thick coat, it will appear rough and thick. Hope that helps. =] if you want pure chrome look, you need an air brush with alclad.
